Sophia Matsas started her career in the private sector and in agencies: the kind of environment where marketing is a craft, rigorously executed and constantly refined. Then she moved inside mission-driven organizations by choice, not circumstance. She spent years at the executive level watching these organizations struggle with the same problem: world-class marketing was out of reach. Too expensive. Too complex. Too dependent on resources they did not have.
She founded Together Branding + Marketing because that gap no longer has to exist. Together works with mission-driven organizations: museums, cultural institutions, tourist attractions, social service nonprofits, and other purpose-led organizations where marketing has to serve growth, community, and mission at the same time. If your organization leads with purpose, we are likely a fit.
Do I need both playbooks, or can I start with one?
You can absolutely start with one. Some clients come to Together knowing exactly which playbook they need. Others are less sure, and that is what the first conversation is for. Each playbook is a complete, standalone engagement, and the path to both is always open when you are ready.
What does a typical engagement look like?
There is no standard package. Every engagement is shaped around what the organization actually needs. Some clients start with a focused program: a defined-scope project with measurable outcomes. Can Together work with our existing team and vendors?
Absolutely. Together is built for collaboration with your internal team, your existing vendors, and any specialist partners already doing great work for your organization. If you love your vendors, we would not disrupt that. We would find the right place to add to it.
Does Together replace in-house marketing teams?
